Fabian Kunz is Director and Head of the M&A / Transaction Services division of Grant Thornton Switzerland/Liechtenstein.
Fabian Kunz has worked in Grant Thornton's Transaction Services department since early 2019, successfully advising on numerous mandates since then. He specialises in M&A and corporate finance consulting, financial due diligence, and company valuations.
In the context of M&A transactions (buy-side and sell-side), he supports companies from a variety of industries, accompanying them through all phases of the process. For financial and vendor due diligence, he is responsible for client support, project management, and conducting analyses. He also advises clients on negotiations and contractual issues, focusing on the financial aspects of the transaction.
He has worked on projects in the production and manufacturing technology, e-commerce, logistics, banking and services sectors. He also performs valuations for contributions in kind, tax issues and audit mandates, as well as in the context of corporate transactions.
Prior to joining Grant Thornton, he worked for a Big 4 firm in Switzerland.
Fabian has a Master's degree in Accounting & Finance from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Zurich (UZH).
Fabian is a CFA® Charterholder, Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA®) and a member of the CFA Society Switzerland. He is also a certified hotel manager.
In addition to his native German, Fabian also speaks fluent English.
