Training concept

Our training events are typically designed as personal in-house workshops (on-site or virtual). Content is tailored to your business model, processes and employee roles (e.g., client advisory, operations, management). A key component of each workshop is addressing questions and practical cases from your day-to-day business to clarify uncertainties and ensure confident implementation in daily operations.

 

Typical training modules (depending on the institution and needs):

  • Corporate governance, compliance, risk management and internal controls (ICS) – including the development of an auditable organisation manual and internal reporting lines

  • AML/CFT under DDA/DDO (KYC, risk-based monitoring, documentation and escalation processes, suspicious activity reports to the FIU)

  • Sanctions / embargoes (screening logic, processes, documentation and interfaces)
  • Conduct of business and organisational obligations under the applicable EEA/special regime requirements (e.g., MiFID II logic: client segmentation, conflicts of interest, documentation and information obligations)

  • Sustainable Finance / ESG (basic concepts, practical impacts on processes and documentation – insofar as relevant for your institution)

  • Cross-border business risks: embedding cross-border risks into risk management, restrictions, country manuals and controls

As these events are individually tailored to you and your organisation, we are happy to take account of specific wishes regarding content, format and duration. The workshop can also be split into several sessions—for example, separately for client-facing teams, operations and management.

At the end of the event, each participant receives a certificate of attendance, so that training can be documented and evidenced in the context of audits and vis-à-vis relevant stakeholders.
