Hermann Caspers is a Partner in the Service Line Audit Industry, Services and Institutions in Zurich.

Professional experience

Hermann Caspers has 25 years’ public accounting and auditing experience and specializes in providing audit services primarily to public and private companies in a wide range of industries including commercial trading, services, mining and manufacturing.

Prior to joining Grant Thornton Switzerland/ Liechtenstein in 2013, Hermann worked for Grant Thornton in Namibia for 18 years.

He carries out audits of consolidated and standalone financial statements prepared in accordance with the Swiss Code of Obligation, IFRS, IFRS for SMEs and Swiss GAAP FER.

Professional qualifications and memberships

Hermann Caspers is a certified accountant, an audit expert recognised by the Swiss Federal Audit Oversight Authority and member of EXPERTsuisse. In addition to his Swiss registration, he is also a Chartered Accountant (Namibia) and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Namibia (ICAN).
